Stroud under 8’s RFC represented the club proudly at the Dursley Festival last Sunday beating Minchinhampton and Dursley Tigers in the initial Pool stages, but losing to Cirencester and Hucclecote A to finish 3rd overall in their pool. Harry Lightfoot scored a total of 10 tries in this stage with tries from Harry Ireland, Matthew Cullimore and Sam Stevenson. A further two tries a piece from Chris Lusty and Angus McDowall were scored. Excellent support and defensive play was provided by Harry McNeil, William Frusher and Toby Fielder. The team then went on to beat Painswick in the playoff to come 4th overall out of eleven. Tries in this match were scored by Harry Lightfoot with 3 and 2 from Angus McDowall.
