Maisie was diagnosed with an inoperable DIPG brain tumour on 13th November 2013, when doctors explained Maisie had a very limited time left. Starlight Children's Foundation 'made a wish come true' for Maisie. Along with her brother and parents she went to Florida in March 2014. Maisie got to swim with dolphins on her 8th and last birthday. Maisie died in October 2014.
