The clubs annual quiz night was a massive success with lots of people involved. It was a close run quiz with the winners, and still the champions, 30 someting + 1, which included Tarps & Johnny Allen (again). They won with 83/100 beating the runners up, Old farts, Old tarts, & Nelmer who finished on 71/100. And for anyone thinking this was just a bit of fun, just try telling that to Nelmer! Just as passionate (and vocal) as when he's on the sideline! However, his rendition of 'I'll never fall in love again' by Burt Bacharach touched all of us and well worth the entrance fee itself.
It's back! Stroud RFC's Annual Quiz Night is back and this year will be bigger and better than ever before.

It will take place on Saturday 3rd October 2009 following our first team game with Keynsham RFC.

A large cash prize is up for grabs for the winning team plus further runners up prizes will also be on offer.

Starting at 6pm with an entry fee is £25 per team (maximum of 5 people per team). This is your chance to join in with the fun and become Stoud RFC Annual Quiz Champion 2009
Stroud RFC's first home game this Saturday v North Bristol is a Hawaiian themed BBQ so if you can all get your Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts, and garlands out then would be appreciated as we can hopefully make the whole day (and night) a success both on and off the pitch.

There will also be a BBQ at the game to get everyone in the mood serving delicious Burgers and Hotdogs at a very reasonable price, especially considering they will be cooked by a world renowned chef!

Look forward to seeing you at the game and don't forget to come and experience the taste sensations at BBQ Corner.
