However, good defence by both forwards and backs kept their line intact, with captain for the day Gareth Sedglov always at the heart of any play.
Stroud made the occasional foray into the Tewkesbury half with wing Harry Phillips always looking dangerous, but with half time beckoning, centre Chris Toon made an excellent break from within his own 22 and gave a try scoring pass to scrum half Jordan Phipps who ran half the length of the field to score near the posts, fly half Cory Baker adding the conversion.
Nomads opened the second half strongly with their forwards gaining the upper hand in the scrums and several chances went begging with passes being dropped at crucial times.
After a strong run by prop Tom Allen, Tewkesbury were penalised for going offside and Cory Baker kicked the penalty goal.Further pressure by the Nomads resulted in a further penalty kick again converted by Cory Baker.
With time running out Tewkesbury made a concerted effort to open their account but once again fine defensive work kept them out, and from a dropped ball full back Matt Binns linked with centre Chris Toon who ran some 30 metres to score Stroud's 2nd try, the conversion was missed.
A good all round performance by Nomads with special mention to Lee Marshall who stood in as prop for this game.
Man of the match: Prop Tom Allen.
