Big win for the nomads

Stroud Nomads Recorded a record score on a cold afternoon they turned on the style from a good scrum the ball was moved wide and Aaron Raath broke from the half way line and good support play by Alex Powell saw him cross for the first try soon followed by an Aaron Raath try ,

Nomads outside half Pete Sykes then broke from the 22 and set off up the field to again find Aaron Raath who finished the move in style form the kick off Lee Marshall charged up the field and from a resulting penalty move Alex Powell dived over in the corner . The nomads forwards were now getting in to the game and the outstanding Tom Warner set off from inside Tewkesbury 22 and bulldoze his way through the defence he was also involved in the next try with another drive which saw scrum half Ben Dodds dive over for a try ,

Alex Powell was next in to complete a first half hat trick . A well timed run from Jordan Phipps saw him score under the posts and five conversions from Pete Sykes completed the first half score 50-0 .

Tewkesbury rallied and spent a short period of time in the Stroud half but a excellent turnover from Matt Hunt and the ball moved quickly along the line saw Harry Philips charge down the wing for his first try . Aaron Raath completed his hat trick and was replaced by Freddy who within minutes scored his first try for the nomads. This was followed again by another Ben Dodds try,

Pete Sykes went through a gap and scored under the posts another from Harry Philips for his second try. A good break from Matt Hunt who stormed into the Tewkesbury 22 and passed the ball to Lee Marshall who had the line at his mercy but unfortunately opted for a scrum, good work throughout the game from Tom Flanagon who looked like he was in from a long run but was stopped short Harvey Mead was in support and cleaned up the loose ball to see Matt Hunt over for a try nomads managed to keep up the pace back row of Vern Whittaker and Ryan Kibble working hard.

Following a injury Aaron Raath returned to the field and completed another hat trick. Another try from Man of the Match Tom Warner and good running from Luke Peer and captain Chris Toon saw Harry Philips complete his second half hat trick credit to Tewkesbury who kept going but a score line of 126-0 at the whistle left Stroud nomads with a display they will remember.
