Great game of rugby

From the kick off chosen hill started fast and piled on the pressure only good defence from the Stroud back line held them out , after several scrums which were dominated by chosen hill there large forwards broke off to open the scoring with a unconverted try from the kick off Stroud regained possession and a good break from Tom Flanagon so the nomads out of there half for the first time, this followed with a penalty to Stroud easy taken by captain Cory Baker.

Chosen hill attacked again and was using their dominance in the scrum to good use Scoring two more tries a shuffle for Stroud in the front Row saw Ollie smith take to the field and made an instant impact a good break from his own half split the chosen hill defence with a floated pass dropped which should have been a certain try. Further Breaks from Grant Nash and Ian Bushall forced another penalty for Stroud again Cory baker converted to finish the half 15-6 .

Stroud started again slowly and again were on the back foot however good tackling from Tom Flanagon forcing a turnover and a good break from replacement Jordan Phipps who off loaded to james morton who was tackle short but found Freddy outside him to cross for Stroud’s first try converted by Cory baker from the touch line, again from a poor line out chosen hill replied with a score.

Stroud again went on the attack and Ash Nash made a good break down the wing in support Lee Marshall drove on into the chosen hill 22 further breaks from Ollie smith was causing chosen hill problems and Ryan kibble crossed for a try but was disallowed, following this Tom Flangon was yellow carded chosen hill worked their way back up the field but Stroud stepped to up the pace several breaks from the forwards saw Grant Nash Drive over for a score, Again chosen hill replied with a try following some missed tackles Stroud kept going and good inter play saw Cory Baker crash over for a try which again he converted.

Stroud battled away for the remaining couple of minutes but could not get the last score. Final Score 27-25 to chosen hill a excellent game of rugby with Stroud showing lots of pride in the second half 15 points scored from Captain Cory Baker and a good display gave him man of the match.
