From the kick off Nomads pressed the Drybrook line and were rewarded with a penalty kicked by Corey Baker. Drybrook hit back straight away with their forwards mauling up and over the Stroud line for an unconverted try. The Nomads caught the ball from the kick off and moved it quickly across the threequarters to Mark Walker who outpaced the covering defence and scored by the posts. Further tries followed with Dan Ryland, Sam Leaworthy and Ben Billau scoring before the halftime whistle, with Drybrook managing two penalty goals.
Nomads continued the second half with some lovely running and handling and further tries were scored by Mark Walker (2), Sam Leaworthy, Philip Fruin, Sam Cook and Grant Nash with Corey Baker converting eight of the tries and Chris Toon one. All in all this was an excellent all round display by the whole team with mention going to Sam Cook, Nat Cook, Sam Davies, Philip Fruin and Tom Flanagan all U18's who are enjoying playing senior rugby.
