A reduced Stroud squad (15) travelled to Lydney to play their small squad of 9
There were 3 matches played with an aggregate total of 5-3 in Stroud's favour.
The first section put Lydney in the lead with a 2-0 start. Despite a superb tackle from Tommy Gibbs on the touchline the Lydney team managed to score their first try of the day. A weakened Stroud defence led to their second try.
The second Stroud team turned the tide with 4 tries scored after some excellent turnover play. Tries were scored by Max M, Toby (superb run to score) , Zach and Max L.
The morning finished with a final session of play from the remaining uninjured players and subs - Max M running through another try followed by Lydney's Libby scoring after an undefended run for the line.
A great morning for both squads.
