Following the glorious sunshine of last weeks County Cup, the players and parents were exposed to the harsh reality of rugby!
Although the biting cold rain/sleet left everyone ready for the after match cup of tea, there were 30 minutes of action to entertain those who braved the touchlines.
Painswick had much the better of the first half, running in 3 unanswered tries. The second half saw Stroud up their game, and scored a well worked try from Marcus Martin.
Zin-zan Cremins again led from the front when it came to rucking and mauling. The highlight of the day for attacking play were the rampaging runs made by Ollie Reid who broke through several tackles before finally being brought down short of the line.
Due to the weather no trophies were awarded today, the best reward being the warmth of the car heaters on the way home!!!!!
