Sunny Sunday

We had a great turn out this Sunday as 20 rugby stars-in-the-making turned up and got stuck in to playing the usual warm up games and then, by popular demand, a game of Bulldog, without balls. The ever-popular Toilet Tag followed and then another game of Bulldog, this time carrying the ball (in two hands!) We had a game of tag rugby at the end and had some magnificent tries, which came from excellent team work and some great passing. The tagging and running, with great communication between all players, show the value of the warm up games we play and this, with incredible concentration from such a young squad, has meant the boys and girls working as teams and playing inspirational tag rugby at this very early stage of the season.
Player of the Week has gone to Charlie Nash. Although new to the squad, Charlie showed great committment and enthusiam, despite an early clash of heads, and Most Improved has been awarded to Lourens Brand for really getting involved this week, and doing it all with a smile on his face.

It is a joy to have Tim and Jason managing so well, and abiding by old addage that "three's a crowd" I can spend more time in the Kitchen out of the cold...!!
See you all next Sunday I hope
