Todays fixture saw us welcome Longlevens to Fromehall. The slippy pitch created issues for both sides with a fair amount of sliding about affecting tackles and runs, also creating a fair bit of washing!

Having played Longlevens just a few weeks ago we knew they were a well drilled side with some very strong players but the boys were pumped up to try and set the record straight.

Scoring early the Longlevens side were strong but the Stroud boys didnt let their heads go down and stayed well in the game, making some fantastic runs.

The set pieces from the lineouts once again worked well and resulted on several very close attempts at getting over the line, being frustratingly stopped by a solid defence.

With big tackles being put in all over the pitch and great handling skills on show it was a wonderful game to watch but sadly we weren’t able to put the record straight..... this time!
